Now ICC has confirmed its decision of relocating match of India vs South Africa to Bengaluru because of incompletion of work in Eden Garden, Kolkata. First it was scheduled on 27 Feburary, 2011 but now it will take place on same date in Bengaluru.
Yesterday BCCI got a letter in which ICC framed some incompleted works which must be completed in due date. So ICC's inspection team will go to Kolkata again on 7 Feburary, 2011 for confirming progress line.
So BCCI Reesponded ICC for nominating Bengaluru stadium as alternative venue for India vs England match. ICC accepted this recommendation.
After that ICC Chief Executive Haroon Lorgat said: "This decision now clarifies and gives us certainty over the fixture. We can now work with our various partners and stakeholders to make sure that match --- along with the rest of the tournament --- is all it should be."
